Description

Sequences are an important part of technique practice, and scales are the most well known sequences. However it is often more enjoyable to play a more melodic passage which is easier on the ear. This doesn’t mean that you should ignore scales, but other exercises should be introduced for technique which will help develop your sense of key and harmony, and which are fun at the same time. Sequentials introduces sequences for developing tone, technique, articulation and phrasing with suggestions for changing articulation and rhythm.
